How are you every NSX owners. This is Shirou Tajima speaking who drive NSX called "BLACK THUNDER" in Shounan, frightened only few people. That's license plate number is "Shounan 33 sa 9" There is no cars what a special number NSX attached. Everyone does not always get Shounan number. Moreover number is 9. I got this valuable number when Shounan traffic office opened, after I formed a line patiently and drew lots. I can never get such great number twice.

And my BLACK THUNDER is very low. I've heard height go down only 3 or 4cm if that shock absorber attached, but went down more. I changed Shock absorber myself, that was very hard for me. If you want to change it your self, I'll advise you. I recommend you give up to do yourself. Because we cannot remove double wishbone suspension of NSX. It is very hard comparing normal suspension. I wanted to give up many times. Finally I handled steel pipe. But I finished this modification, my NSX looked very nice. I have not labored in vain. I cannot see "normal" NSX. Low down please.(but I don't recommend it for a driver who has hurt or weak waist. In bad case you have to enter a hospital.)
I realized that the height of my NSX was to low when I was going to go through the regularly inspection for vehicle officially. Of course by myself. It was not expensive. "BLACK THUNDER" is tough really. I changed battery, tires, wiper blades, engine oil, oil filter, brake pads, bulbs and parts for auto-window(I think this is a defect.) after 76,000Km. (The owner who don't drive NSX often order inspection to car dealer.) Then I try to have inspection usually. I thought there was no trouble, but at final stage one trouble happened..
Officer said "I wonder if the height is too low."
My situation was very bad. It was first time I watched the tool that measure the height. It was wonderful. Because there was a government office. The height from ground of my "BLACK THUNDER" was only 8.5cm. They need 9.0cm to regulation.
Inspector said boastfully. "You cannot pass without 0.5cm higher." And additional he said "Make higher."
Tut! Almost I could pass.
I said "I lowered only 3 or 4cm."
Inspector said "No, yours was lowered 7 or 8cm."
It was too late that I thought suspension maker told a lie to me. Then I considered. What should I do? It was hard work for me to restore to genuine parts. What is best resolution?
I ask you a question. How did Tajima Shirou pass this difficult situation and inspection? Can you say correct answer?

I live in Oiso beside Shounan, Kanagawa prefecture. I have ridden motorcycle since I was 16 years old. I still love bike. I own GL1500(Animation character Totoro painted), monkey African Baja, moto-compo, PW50 and etc. Once upon a time I owned over ten motorcycles. But after I disposed many of mine. It was too late to enthrall cars, when I was 30 years old. I have owned SUBARU-R2, many of Japanese cars, two PORSCHE911, BENZ, AUDI, BMW and etc. Now I own NSX, FORD-type A(modified but nice looking) and family used. I lowered ‚m‚r‚w and selected wide tread tires. I changed EPU, air cleaner, muffler without 5 anti-noise slides. But it looks normally and gently.
